Online research can be more versatile, cost effective and efficient than some other methodologies. It particularly suits research testing visual material or where there is a defined audience with email lists such as employees, shareholders and customers.

Please be aware that UMR has put considerable internal focus on running parallel online and CATI studies using nationally representative samples to explore the differences in responses between the two mediums and is continuing work in this area.
